Step One
Take you A4 card and on the longest edge score into tri fold. On the score board there should be a line which tells you the right one if not measure 9.8cm x 3 - Fold into a slim line card.
Step Two
Measure 10cm from the bottom and then draw a diagonal line from the 10cm mark to the opposite corner on both sides cut out the triangle from the 10cm mark.
Step Three
Open out you should have 3 sections with a point.
Step Four
At the top of the main card section at the 10cms mark, score a line along the middle section only and then fold down. Cut out the triangle and save for next step.
Step Five
Take the piece you have just cut out and place it at the bottom of the card in the centre it will just come over the top of the cut out section. Secure into place with glue or double-sided tape. You now have the front of you envelope.
Step Six
Turn the card over and then cut out your backing paper to fit the left-hand side, tape into position. If you so desired you could cut the insert for your card a little smaller it’s entirely up to you. Cover the right-hand side the same way.
I found that my joins showed so I coloured them in but you could just cut your backing papers a little bigger and trim down where necessary.
Step Seven
Put a thin strip of tape along the left-hand side and along the bottom and fold over to create the envelope. You now have your envelope to fill.
Step Eight
Score and fold your piece of pearlised card about 15cm x 10cm big enough to fit into your envelope. Take your picture and stick onto card, add a sentiment ( I coloured the peel off dark pink to match dress) and a flat attachment if desired I cut out a shoe and glued it down. They have to be flat to fit inside the envelope.
Step Nine
Either type a verse on your computer and stick it in the insert card or write your own message.
Lastly I placed a sentiment on the envelope and inside the card.
