These are quite easy to make and shouldn’t take very long and the possibilities are endless. Different papers, the size of the bauble it is just up to your imagination. Using the Clear peel offs makes it easier too.

Step one  – To make the topper first.

Cut the gold card 14.5cm x 6cm  for the base.  Cut the brown pearlizied paper 14cm x 5.5 cm and the traditional paper 13.5cm x  5cm

attach the papers  onto each other starting with the gold then the brown and finally the traditional paper  making sure the border around the edges are equal.

Put aside till later

Step Two

To cut out your baubles simply place the peel off onto your chosen papers and cut around the edges. (At the top of each one I folded over the loop and cut the paper across leaving the hole, if this is too fiddly leave it won’t show anyway)

Place the three baubles onto your card where you would like them but don’t stick them down. I placed them under each other graduating down. Cut out a piece of gold ribbon or the cord and measure how much ribbon you need Tip: I cut double-sided tape into thin strips that will fit on the ribbon and stick in place before I put it onto the parcel or card. If this is too fiddly then once you know the position of the baubles place the ribbon half way down and attach with tape then take it over the back of the topper and attach it to the back about 1 – 2 cm down. This is a good way to attach then cord.

double-sided tape down the centre; the ribbon is 26cm long leave a  tab at each end to fold over and stick underneath; the ends will be hidden later by the insert.
